Jacobs Shopfitters News - Re-cycling Drive

In a bid to preserve the environment and work hand-in-hand with environmental conservation authorities, Jacobs Joinery & Shopfitters have embarked on a re-cycling project. Staff members are encouraged to place their waste in the form of cans, paper/cardboard and glass originating from both the factory premises and from their homes into the bins provided by the company. This waste will be sold to re-cycling companies and the monies gleaned will be utilised for planned social activities for the staff of their choice.

This project was launched recently and each staff member given a can of cooldrink and encouraged to throw the empty can into the bin provided to get the "ball rolling".
